Photocentric is a fast-growing, three-time Queen's Award-winning manufacturer. We design and make our own 3D printers, resins and craft products in Peterborough and the USA, and export them all over the world. This is a hands-on role for a Production Manager with real influence as you will report directly to the Managing Director and lead our production supervisors. Your job is to make sure every craft and 3D product we make meets customer expectations and is delivered on time and in full. You will also drive continuous improvement across the production floor.
What you'll do as our Production Manager
Production: plan capacity and deliver to customer demand on time.
Drive Lean and continuous improvement: cut waste, speed up processes and drive CI
Build a quality culture: deliver products that exceed customer expectations.
Lead on health and safety: create a culture where everyone owns H&S, and keep us fully compliant with HSE standards.
Set the standard: review and put in place SOPs and training records, and keep us compliant with ISO and our other accreditations.
Run the numbers: manage budgets and labour costs, and report on performance and output to the management team.
Shape the future: help introduce automation, new machinery and innovative processes.
Plan and deliver: create and run daily, weekly, monthly and annual production schedules.
Develop your people: lead your team through clear objectives, appraisals and personal development plans.
